RAYMAN LEGENDS
Anyone with a love of 2D side-scrolling platformers won’t want to miss this incredible adventure that offers hours and hours of challenging fun for the whole family. Rayman Legends is a co-op platform game which supports up to five players simultaneously (4 on Wii-Motes, 1 on the Wii U GamePad), and offers similar gameplay to the New Super Mario Bros. games.
However, what cranks this game beyond your typical platformer and blasts it into Super Mario Bros. territory is it's sheer perfection. Everything from the gorgeous cartoon visuals, to the quirky characters, and ingeniously designed levels, are all total stand outs.
Rayman Legends is an exceptional gaming experience, that tackles platform genre king Mario head-on, and beats him at his own game. The game truly looks like some sort of interactive Pixar cartoon, rather than an actual playable videogame - it's mind-blowing!
Visuals aside, Legends is tons of fun to play (particularly with friends and family) with simple intuitive controls and more platform action than you can poke a stick at. The game also makes full use of the Wii U GamePad, allowing players to use the Touch Screen to take out enemies, manipulate platforms, and clear pathways to help their platforming partners. If you haven't already guessed, Guru absolutely loves this game... In a word, it's FANTASTIC!!!

Rayman Legends was originally set to be released at the same time as Nintendo's Wii U's, and much to Guru's disappointment it's taken a little under a year to finally get here! The good news though, is that the game has been well worth the wait. It is, in fact, nothing short of amazing!!!
